A new restaurant was being planned in a redeveloped old building in the outer suburbs of Toronto and called Xradar™ to assess the proposed location and map the subsurface of the concrete slabs.
Situation
The client had a rough plan of how they wanted to design the space however they needed to core a large number of holes into the slab in order to install a commercial kitchen and a bar. They needed to know everything about the slab and the position of all targets within.
Solution
Xradar™ was brought in to execute a Pre-Design Scan of whole restaurant slab. Using our Xradar™ enhanced scanning technology, our skilled technicians carried out the scan of this space marking out all targets within the slab which included service channels, slab bands, dense steel reinforcement and metal conduits.
